Kanye West to Perform Two Concerts in Russia, First Major Western Star Since 2022

Kanye "Ye" West is scheduled to perform two high-profile stadium shows in St. Petersburg, Russia, on October 10 and 11 at the Gazprom Arena.

These concerts would mark the first time a major Western music star performs in Russia since the country launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. West's producer Joseph Karre and local organizer SAY Agency confirmed the shows, which are part of the Ye Live Concert Tour 2026 supporting his 12th album, Bully. Russia’s state-owned newswire TASS claimed the cheapest tickets sold out within an hour of the announcement.

West's 2026 European tour previously faced cancellations and performance bans in several countries, including England, France, Italy, Poland, and Switzerland, due to his past antisemitic remarks. These remarks, which began in 2022, include praise for Adolf Hitler and the use of Nazi imagery, leading to his removal from social media platforms and severed ties with his talent agency and fashion brands like Adidas and Balenciaga.

In February 2025, West sold swastika t-shirts, and in May, he released a song titled 'Heil Hitler.' Conservative Russian lawmaker Vitaly Milonov suggested West perform traditional Russian songs. West previously visited Moscow in 2024 for a fashion designer's birthday party.
