A Russian strike killed at least 33 people and injured 18 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, on Thursday, making it the deadliest single attack this year.

The strike caused two public buses to catch fire. Police in Donetsk reported Russian drones targeted officers helping victims. On October 10, a Russian strike hit a multi-story residential building in Dnipro, injuring four people, including two eight-year-old girls.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 221 combat engagements along the front line over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 94 of 116 drones launched by Russian forces overnight on October 10. President Zelenskyy stated that this week alone, Russians launched around 1,450 aerial bombs, 75 missiles, and over 1,640 attack drones.
