The longest localized truce of the war between Russia and Ukraine concluded Sunday evening in the eastern Kherson region with no extensions announced.

The pause in hostilities enabled a joint humanitarian evacuation from the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky, where Ukrainian forces evacuated 167 civilians, including 22 children and 21 people with limited mobility. U.S. First Lady Melania Trump helped broker the six-day local ceasefire, which began early Tuesday. While the Oleshky area remained quiet, military strikes continued elsewhere in Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russian attacks on energy infrastructure left hundreds of thousands of families without power overnight as Moscow exploited shortages of ballistic missile interceptors. Separate Russian attacks across Dnipropetrovsk Oblast injured six people in more than 40 strikes involving drones and artillery, according to Oleksandr Hanzha. In the Sumy region, a Russian FPV drone strike on a civilian car in the Hlukhiv hromada killed a 70-year-old woman instantly and injured two others, according to Oleh Hryhorov.

In Vinnytsia Oblast, a Russian attack killed a 13-year-old girl and another woman while hospitalizing four others, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. In Ternopil Oblast, an energy infrastructure facility in the Kremenets hromada was hit, and a drone attack in Chernivtsi injured a man and damaged an office building, according to Ruslan Osypenko.

Meanwhile, Ukraine struck a major missile fuel producer in Russia's Rostov region, causing a fire and damaging four production facilities, while Ukrainian authorities reported an apparent hack of the country air alert application.
