Former UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Resigns From Parliament

Former British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer announced on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, that he is standing down as a Member of Parliament for Holborn and St Pancras in London.

He has represented the seat since 2015. The decision will trigger a by-election in the central London constituency.
