Randy Fine Wins Florida GOP Primary Amidst Inflammatory Campaign

Representative Randy Fine secured a landslide victory in his Florida GOP primary on Tuesday, defeating mega-influencer Dan Bilzerian.

The Associated Press called the race at 7:53 p.m. 7% of the votes and Bilzerian garnering 18% with 69% of votes counted. The primary was marked by inflammatory rhetoric, including antisemitic tropes and allusions to Adolf Hitler. Fine, who is serving his first term in Congress, was endorsed by President Donald Trump, the Republican Jewish Coalition, and AIPAC.

He has faced criticism for past comments disparaging Muslims and suggesting Gazans should “starve away” until Israeli hostages were released. Bilzerian, an influencer who has spread conspiracy theories about Jews, previously stated he wants to “kill Israelis” and called Fine a “fat Jew.” Bilzerian invoked Hitler in campaign remarks, referencing an “Austrian painter,” and posted on X/Twitter that “the Jew is scared.” Fine responded by calling Bilzerian an “open Nazi” and the campaign an “organized pogrom against the Jews.”
