Pennsylvania Woman Charged After Husband, Son Die in Resort Stabbing

Metallica Rose Harrison, 27, of Towanda, Pennsylvania, faces two homicide charges after her husband, Charles Harrison, and their 3-year-old son died from stab wounds.

The incident occurred on Monday, October 12, at Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun, near Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. Police responded around 3:13 p.m. Charles Harrison suffered multiple stab wounds to his chest, and the 3-year-old boy had a single stab wound to his chest. Two butcher knives were recovered from the scene. Harrison was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso described the case as a violent domestic tragedy and an isolated domestic incident, stating there was no apparent threat to other guests. Harrison is awaiting arraignment as the investigation continues.
