Rep. Max Miller Sued Over Nude Photo of Daughter

Rep. Max Miller, R-Ohio, is being sued by his ex-wife, Emily Moreno, for allegedly recklessly publishing a nude photograph of their two-year-old daughter online.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday, stems from a Dropbox folder Miller posted on X on August 2, containing documents he claimed would vindicate him from domestic abuse allegations. Moreno, who is suing Miller and his attorney Aaron Minc, alleges the nude image of their daughter, depicting her genitalia, was among the documents. The lawsuit states Miller recklessly and intentionally provided Minc a trove of documents and photos, indifferent about what they contained or how they were used.

The image was reportedly available online for approximately 23 hours before being taken down. Moreno is seeking $150,000 in damages for each time the photo was downloaded. Miller has vehemently denied all abuse allegations, including claims that he poured hot water on Moreno, pointed a gun at her head, and broke their daughter's collarbone. Moreno is the daughter of Ohio Republican Sen. Bernie Moreno.

Miller's leadership PAC, Dependable Conservative Leadership PAC, has also drawn criticism for donating to Republican candidates amid these allegations. Bob Brooks criticized Rep. Ryan Mackenzie for receiving $2,500 from Miller's PAC, and Will Lawrence criticized Rep. Tom Barrett for receiving the same amount.
