Iranian state television broadcast a video that appears to threaten the life of Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, and claims a $10 million bounty for his death.

The nearly three-minute video, aired by state broadcaster IRIB and Channel 3, features English-language graphics asking "Where to kill Barron Trump?!" and shows stylized graphics of locations where Trump is known to spend time, including Trump Tower. The narrator suggested people were eagerly waiting to receive our $10 million reward. The Secret Service confirmed it is aware of the video and investigates any perceived threats to its protectees, but declined to comment on operational security.

Hardline Iranian media have repeatedly featured content threatening President Trump and his family following the assassination of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This appears to be the first time Barron Trump has been publicly singled out. The video was broadcast over the weekend, with reports emerging on August 24 and 25. The footage also claimed an unnamed young woman evaded Secret Service protection to meet with Barron Trump and relay information about him, and that he uses Xbox for private communication.

Iran's finance minister stated Tehran was fully prepared for the US sanctions and that "Our defence is no longer so defensive; the enemies should wait for an attack." This follows Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announcing punitive measures against Iran after President Trump threatened an economic D-Day.
