Vice President Vance Sees Dark Spiritual Energy Around AI

Vice President JD Vance stated he has noticed really weird, dark spiritual energy surrounding the artificial intelligence industry.

Speaking on a Christian podcast with Bryce Crawford, Vance also mused on his religious views, saying he would not [be] shocked if the Antichrist was walking among them. He speculated on whether the end times were nigh, a phrase referring to theories about the end of the world in Christianity. Vance clarified that these thoughts do not preoccupy him, emphasizing his focus on being good to his family and serving as a leader for the United States.

Rod Dreher, a conservative writer and friend of Vance, stated that these comments reflect a very, very common belief among Americans inclined to vote Republican. Vance linked his unease to parts of the AI industry, citing an example of AI used for marriage counseling, which he described as kind of satanic for short-circuiting human social feedback. He also mentioned feeling a certain darkness in meetings with world leaders.
