President Trump Signals Possible Deal, Hopes for End to Iran War

President Donald Trump stated that the United States is hopefully. Towards end of the Iran war and signaled a possible deal.
President Trump's comments come as the war has lasted more than six months, despite his earlier assertion that it would last weeks. The US House of Representatives has voted for a third time to end the war with Iran, with a war powers resolution that would stop President Trump from continuing military action without congressional approval.
The resolution still needs to pass the Senate. The conflict has had economic repercussions, with diesel prices hovering above $6 a gallon, and Americans spending an additional $100 billion on fuel during the war. The war is also driving clean energy development, though it is not yet enough to help the planet. Philippine bank assets have retreated from a record high due to the US-Iran war and bad weather.
Life in Tehran is described as very difficult due to daily bombings, economic pressure, and additional sanctions. Polls indicate that Americans overwhelmingly believe the US failed in the Iran war and view President Trump as dangerous and corrupt. The US faces a munitions shortfall after the Iran war. Vice President JD Vance stated that the Iran War would enter a different phase in coming months.
