Fox News announced on Monday that Karoline Leavitt, former White House press secretary, will join the network as an on-air contributor starting November 1.

Leavitt will provide commentary across the Fox News lineup and on Fox News Media platforms. Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott stated that Leavitt's firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape. Leavitt expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue appearing on Fox News Channel as an official member of the team.

Leavitt, 29, served as President Donald Trump’s press secretary and chief spokeswoman until she stepped down in late August. She then rejoined the Trump-affiliated super PAC MAGA Inc. and was a featured speaker at the Republican Midterm Convention in early September. Leavitt began her professional career as a deputy press secretary during President Trump’s first administration after interning at local news organizations as a student.

She later ran for Congress and worked for Trump’s 2024 campaign. This marks her first direct work with a major news organization in her professional career. The Daily Beast reported that Fox News agreed to build a studio in Leavitt's New Hampshire home.
