Trump Happy Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Left US for UK Return

President Donald Trump stated he is happy that Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, left the United States to return to the UK.

Trump said he was "NOT a fan" and believed they treated the royal family with great disrespect. He added that if he were the Royal family, he would not have taken them back. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced a fortnight ago they were leaving California and moving back to Britain, six years after quitting royal duties.

The couple intends to relocate to a private, non-Royal residence outside London. Their children, Prince Archie, aged seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, accompanied them and are enrolled to start at a British school later this month. The couple was loaned a Cotswold manse by British billionaire hedge fund manager Ian Wace, a friend of both Prince William and Harry.

They plan to keep their homes in Montecito, California, and Portugal. King Charles III privately met with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their two children in July at the Highgrove House country estate. Relations between Harry and the royal family deteriorated after their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. Harry shows no desire to relinquish his title or place as fifth in the line of succession to King Charles III.
