Hasan Piker Mocks Assassinated Charlie Kirk With Song Rendition

Hasan Piker led a packed theater in San Francisco on Friday night in a mocking rendition of "We Are Charlie Kirk," a tribute song that appeared after Charlie Kirk was assassinated last September 10.

Piker's co-hosts laughed, and the audience cheered and sang along. Piker, a far-left streamer, performed the meme song during a stop on his "Fear& LIVE" tour. He later posted a photo from the show with the caption, "Carried the flame tn," and stated it was the most surreal moment in my entire life. The song, thought to be AI-generated, is a Christian power ballad with lyrics like, "He spoke the truth when the cost was high / He lived for Jesus, unafraid to die."

Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated at Utah Valley University last September 10 by an alleged gunman. Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet wrote on X that Piker was engaging in pure, unadulterated evil. Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA) condemned Piker, stating the Democratic Party does not stand for what Hasan Piker stands for. Critics on the right called the act downright evil and incredibly politically dumb.
