The Story
Russia's FSB confirmed a US tip-off about a terror plot in Moscow after the US embassy warned of a credible threat of mass casualties at Tsaritsyno park on October 31.
The FSB said it had received the information about preparations for an attack in Moscow from the American side through partner channels and that work was under way, Kommersantreported on October 31. It gave no details of the plot or who was behind it. The US embassy named the target in a security alert issued the same day.
