Dolly Parton Estate Announces 'DollyFest' Festival in London and Nashville

Dolly Parton's estate has announced a two-day festival, "DollyFest," to honor the late singer's life and legacy.

The festival will take place across two consecutive weekends in 2027 in both London and Nashville. Parton herself had conceived of an earlier version of the event, intended for January 2026, where she would host and perform with other artists. However, that original event was canceled due to Parton's health struggles. The estate stated that DollyFest will serve as a party of a lifetime that Parton wished to share with the world and will replace a traditional public memorial.

Parton died at age 80 on August 25 after a battle with cancer and was laid to rest at a private family funeral in Nashville on Friday, next to her late husband, Carl Dean. Danny Nozell, founder and CEO of CTK Enterprises and DollyFest organizer, said the festival concept is authentic to Parton and allows fans and artists to participate while also providing time for grief and planning.

Specific dates and performers for DollyFest are yet to be announced. In other tributes, the Tennessee Volunteers football team will honor Parton with a butterfly emblem helmet sticker throughout the 2026 season. Singer Megan Hilty delivered a tribute concert in Concord, and the country music duo Big & Rich recalled Parton's efforts to help neighbors after the 2016 Tennessee wildfires. Miley Cyrus has also rebranded herself with a new name following Parton's death.
