Robert Pattinson, Oasis Documentary Premiere at Venice Film Festival

Robert Pattinson's film "Primetime" and the Oasis reunion documentary "Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger" premiered at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival on Saturday.

Pattinson stars as a television presenter who hunts suspected sexual predators in "Primetime." The Oasis documentary explores the relationship between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher and their reunion tour, which began in Cardiff on July 4 last year. The film includes never-before-seen rehearsals and their first joint interview in 25 years. Liam Gallagher stated the film is bigger than me and Noel.

The Gallagher brothers departed Venice on Sunday after the premiere. Nicola Peltz received the Rising Star Award at the festival on Saturday, supported by her husband Brooklyn Beckham. Peltz thanked her family, including her father Nelson Peltz, for their belief in her. German director Wim Wenders also spoke in Venice, clarifying his views on filmmakers and politics, stating they are the antidote to politicians.

Jury president Maggie Gyllenhaal commented that movies are fundamentally, undeniably political. The festival also showcased films set against the Iran War and a documentary about Russian journalists in exile.
