Fraser Garden, 55, has been jailed for 13 years and six months at the High Court in Edinburgh for causing the death of John Bell, 74, by dangerous driving. Garden admitted stealing a Maserati from a car showroom in Broughty Ferry on April 13 this year. He then drove the vehicle at speeds exceeding 80mph through a residential area, nearly three times the 30mph limit. Mr. Bell suffered non-survivable injuries when he was struck by the car and pinned against a wall in his garden in Broughty Ferry.
