The Story
The charges follow an investigation by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary into allegations relating to four complainants between 2008 and 2021. The police investigation began on 24 July last year after officers received a report of a sexual offence, leading to an arrest on 6 January. The defendant is scheduled to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on 25 November. Reform UK announced that the councillor has been suspended with immediate effect.
