Ukraine launched one of its largest drone attacks since the start of the war, causing a fire at a distribution warehouse near Moscow and killing at least six people overnight, according to Russian authorities. A drone attack targeted three towns in Russia’s southwestern Rostov region, killing five people. Governor Yury Slyusar said more than 150 drones damaged several homes and a railway station and sparked a forest fire. One person was also killed in a drone strike on a bus near the southern Russian city of Belgorod. In Ukraine, Russian drone missile attacks killed seven people. Two people died in the central city of Kryvyi Rih, and one person was killed in Sumy. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a missile strike on his hometown of Kryvyi Rih killed two people and injured 14 others. A man and a woman died when their home was hit by a Russian strike in Ukraine’s southern Zaporizhzhia region. Russian attacks sparked fires throughout the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, wounding six people. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said air-raid sirens sounded four times since Saturday night. A Spanish F-18 jet, part of a NATO patrol mission, shot down a drone that crossed into Romanian airspace from Moldova; a NATO military spokesperson said the drone appeared to be Russian.
