The Story
Dafroza Gauthier, known as a "Rwandan genocide suspect 'hunter'," died at the age of 72 in Reims on Saturday. She died from cancer. For nearly 30 years, Gauthier, alongside her husband Alain, dedicated her life to tracking down Rwandan refugees in France who were suspected of participating in the Tutsi genocide. She spent decades pursuing justice by filing a string of civil lawsuits against these suspected individuals.
