Harry and Meghan Return to UK; Meghan in Talks for Netflix Role

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, plan to return to the United Kingdom from California in a matter of weeks.

They have already enrolled their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in British schools to start the autumn term. The couple is expected to live at a private, nonroyal residence outside of London and will not resume their royal duties, which they gave up six years ago when they moved to Montecito, California.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is in early talks for a role in Season 3 of Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series, "The Gentlemen." This would mark Meghan's first acting role since her marriage to Prince Harry in May 2018. She previously played lawyer Rachel Zane in the US legal drama "Suits" for seven seasons, with her last episode airing in 2018.

She recently made a cameo as herself in the forthcoming comedy "Close Personal Friends." The news of their return has sparked widespread discussion about where they will live, who will pay for their security, and whether Harry can repair his once-close relationship with Prince William. Craig Prescott, an expert on the UK constitution, stated the palace would not want Meghan and Harry’s presence to overshadow the monarchy’s work.

Andrew Stephen, a professor of marketing at the University of Oxford, stated the Harry and Meghan brand is at a crossroads with a fragmented portfolio.
