Conservative radio personality Sid Rosenberg, a vocal critic of Vice President JD Vance's positions toward Israel, left a meeting with Vance on Thursday giddy with optimism.

Rosenberg told the hosts of WABC Radio's Cats & Cosby that Vance did win him over, adding, "I think I charmed him more." The meeting occurred amid Vance's attempts to make overtures to the Jewish community to shore up support for a possible 2028 presidential run. Rosenberg, a Jewish New Yorker and friend of President Donald Trump, has faulted Vance for not being strong enough on Israel.

Rosenberg, who hosts "Sid & Friends In The Morning" on WABC, expressed surprise at receiving the invitation after both spoke last month at a Republican Jewish Coalition meeting in Las Vegas. He described the session as more of a get-to-know-each-other session that went well, with plans for many more meetings about very substantial things. Rosenberg stated Vance is willing to listen.

Separately, Vance's appeal for voters to give Republicans another chance on the All-In podcast this week was widely derided online. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wrote on X that "It's over for MAGA extremism in November," while journalist Philip DeFranco and comedian Mike Drucker also mocked the remarks. Vance is reportedly planning to host a Shabbat dinner this week as part of his outreach to Jewish Republicans.
