Karoline Leavitt Confirms Return to Trump Super PAC After White House Exit

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Friday she will return to the Trump-aligned super PAC MAGA Inc. Leavitt told reporters outside Air Force One that her trip with President Donald Trump to a South Carolina rally would be her last official outing as press secretary.

She stated she is leaving to spend more time with her two young children, a son born in July 2024 and a daughter born in May of this year. Leavitt previously worked as a spokesperson for MAGA Inc. She has not yet revealed her new title at MAGA Inc. President Trump said Friday that many people are interested in taking over as White House Press Secretary, noting Leavitt made the job look very glamorous.

He speculated about various potential replacements, including longtime Trump staffer Margo Martin and CNN commentator Scott Jennings, whom he called a good option. Trump stated he has never had so many job applications in my life for the position. When announcing Leavitt's resignation on Truth Social, Trump called her one of my most trusted aides and said she had been one of the best White House Press Secretaries in the History of the Office.

A White House official previously indicated Trump is taking time to name a replacement due to the suddenness of her resignation and her close relationship with him. MAGA Inc. has accumulated over $350 million in campaign funds ahead of November’s midterms.
