Russian military forces launched thirty-six ballistic missiles and one hundred seventy-two strike drones overnight across twelve Ukrainian regions, heavily targeting the capital of Kyiv.

The bombardment injured at least nine people across the country, including a child, and partially destroyed a kindergarten in the Solomianskyi district. Explosions also hit the 816-meter Northern Bridge spanning the Dnipro River, forcing municipal authorities to close the route to traffic in both directions. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that municipal workers initiated repairs on the bridge while water pressure and heating services in the capital were partially restored.

Acting Chairman of the Board Serhiy Fedorenko confirmed that three consecutive strikes hit a Naftogaz oil and gas facility in central Ukraine, triggering a large-scale fire that was contained without staff casualties. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the strikes, stating that the operation targeted Ukraine military-industrial production, energy installations, and transport networks. The aerial assault preceded scheduled trilateral negotiations in Abu Dhabi involving delegations from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States aimed at ending the war.
