Michael P. Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial, is facing death threats, doxing, and harassment, according to his lawyer, Edward Paltzik.

Paltzik stated that Desronvil has been moved to a secure location. Desronvil, who previously represented former President Trump, has publicly defended his decision to not side with the 11 other jurors who favored finding Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity. In a statement released by his lawyer, Desronvil asserted he didn't have any doubts about Clancy's guilt, stating that prosecutors presented enough evidence to prove she knew exactly what she was doing and planned the killings.

He claimed that during deliberations, other jurors repeatedly cut him off when he tried to explain different theories, giving the impression he had doubts based on the evidence. The jury's deadlock on September 4 led Judge William Sullivan to declare a mistrial in the case where Clancy faced three counts of first-degree murder for the January 2023 deaths of her children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan.

A fundraiser for Desronvil to cover security, legal fees, and lost work has raised over $330,000. Desronvil's stance was that the physical evidence, key witnesses, and prosecution's presentation were sufficient proof of Clancy's criminal responsibility.
