Fetterman Staffers Promise More Damaging Details After Report

Former staffers for Senator John Fetterman plan to release additional details about his work, calling the recent Wall Street Journal report just the tip of the iceberg.

The group, calling itself "Former Fetterman Staffers" (FFS), expressed disgust with his current role. The Wall Street Journal report detailed Fetterman's alleged reluctance to engage in basic duties, including routinely skipping constituent meetings, neglecting legislative review, and declining in-state public appearances. Representative Chris Deluzio stated that Fetterman's behavior shows a lack of duty. Representative Brendan Boyle called Fetterman a lazy trust fund baby.

Pennsylvania State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta also condemned Fetterman's behavior, noting his absence as Lieutenant Governor and Senator. Fetterman reportedly told staff he was too sick to meet with paralyzed veterans, then appeared on Fox News. He also pushed back on meeting with children's hospital executives, suggesting they wanted free trips to DC. Fetterman declined to attend the funeral of three police officers killed in his hometown due to its three-hour length, calling it a nonstarter.

Text messages obtained by CBS News also indicate Fetterman's impatience with constituent duties. A former staffer confirmed the accuracy of the Journal's story to CBS News.
