John Oliver criticized Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s reality series, The Great American Road Trip, calling it an expensively produced test run of a Duffy family reality show.

The show, marketed by Duffy and his wife Rachel Campos-Duffy as a nationwide storytelling movement, was dumped onto YouTube after production delays and received low viewership and bad reviews. President Donald Trump unleashed eight AI-generated posts on Truth Social during a 50-minute stretch from half past midnight to nearly 1:20 a.m. The posts covered topics like the Iran war, November’s midterm elections, American Revolution AI slop, sanctuary cities, and "Western civilization," and included an image of George Washington scowling. Trump did not write the posts himself, instead sharing material from other accounts.

This overnight barrage followed Trump waving the green flag at the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix in downtown Washington on Sunday, where he appeared alongside first lady Melania Trump and executive assistant Natalie Harp. Natalie Harp, 35, is Trump’s executive assistant, earning $150,000 annually. Her role entails trailing Trump and presenting him with positive news coverage, leading New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman to liken her to a human binkie.

Harp has written to Trump, calling him her "Guardian and Protector," and declared he was all that matters to me and she is unworthy of him. Renée Graham, a Boston Globe columnist, argued Harp has become the bodyguard of Trump's fragile ego, filtering out negative news and crafting social media posts. Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff of Georgia remarked that Trump wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar. Trump spokesperson Davis Ingle called Ossoff a cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid. Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) stated discussions regarding Natalie Harp have been super misogynistic.
