Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier stated he would have charged Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington with assault and battery if the WNBA foul on Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham had occurred in Florida. Carrington was ejected for the flagrant foul during a game in Chicago. Cunningham later dismissed Carrington's post-game claim of white privilege for the ejection.
