Terrorist Killed in Joint Army, Police Operation in Budgam Forest

One terrorist was killed during a joint operation by the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF in the Ashdar Gali forest area of Budgam district on Friday.

The operation was launched following specific intelligence inputs about the movement of suspected militants. Troops observed suspicious movement and challenged the suspects, who opened fire, leading to an exchange of gunfire. An AK rifle and other war-like stores were recovered from the site. Security forces are continuing a search operation in the area, as another terrorist is believed to be hiding there.
