The Story
The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to restore a Biden-era regulation allowing for certain deportation proceedings to be temporarily paused. The decision was seemingly unanimous. In its unsigned order, the high court rejected an emergency application by three Democrat-led cities to pause a consent judgment between the Justice Department and Texas.
