Army Awards $192 Million for TITAN Targeting System Production

The U.S. Army has awarded a combined $192 million to Palantir Technologies and Anduril Industries to move its Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) program from prototyping to production.

Palantir received $127 million and will lead production of the next-generation targeting system, which was designed to simplify data gathering for soldiers aiming at distant targets. Anduril received $65 million to manufacture ruggedized, vehicle-mounted systems and integrate power and thermal subsystems. The TITAN program will create advanced variants for tactical trucks capable of gathering data from space sensors, and basic variants for Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.

The award covers eight systems, including four advanced and four basic variants, slated for delivery over the next 18 months. These will supplement the Army's nine existing prototype units. The Army selected Palantir as the prime contractor in 2024. Additional production orders are expected in fiscal 2027.
