Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth Faces Impeachment Call Amid DEI Criticism

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., called for an impeachment vote on Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

This call comes amid criticism of Hegseth's crusade to decontaminate the ranks from "DEI" (diversity, equity and inclusion) within the U.S. military. Hegseth and his wife, Jennifer, joined the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets for early-morning physical training on Friday. This event was part of a "SEND ME TOUR" aimed at connecting with military cadets and veterans and promoting domestic manufacturing in the defense sector.

They do colorblind, gender neutral, merit-based, merit only. Discipline, accountability, readiness, training, lethality, that’s it. Defense Department staffers reportedly likened Jennifer to Yoko Ono, the widow of John Lennon, a nickname that became public a day before Hegseth posted the photo with his wife.

Sources told the Daily Mail that staffers described Jennifer as having an extremely tight leash on the man she married and being like his parole officer and PR agent all at once. Hegseth praised Texas A&M during his College Station visit.
