A 15-year-old former pupil killed one employee and injured two others at a Polish primary school on Thursday in Leszczydol-Nowiny, northeast of Warsaw.

The attacker wore a helmet-mounted camera, intending to film the knife attack, though it was not clear if the attack was actually filmed. The victim was a 37-year-old woman who worked as a caretaker. Two teachers were injured while trying to stop the attacker, including head teacher Krzysztof Ochmanski, who was wounded by a long knife and hit with the handle.

The attacker had three knives on him. This incident marked the second school stabbing in Poland in two days. On Wednesday, a 19-year-old wounded 10 people, including himself, at a school in Ostroleka, northeastern Poland. Police detained the 19-year-old suspect shortly after that incident.
